Our personal visit on March 29, 2025

My wife and I visited Taíno on March 29, 2025 and were truly impressed. She had the Churrasco – a tender, marinated grilled steak served in thin slices, full of flavor and grilled to perfection. I had the daily special with slow-cooked pork, potato salad, and rice – a hearty and satisfying combination.

Puerto Rican Favorites

Other traditional highlights on the menu include:

  • Alcapurrias: Fried fritters stuffed with seasoned beef or land crab.
  • Mofongo: Mashed plantains served with meat or seafood of choice.
  • Pernil: Slow-roasted pork shoulder served with rice and beans.
  • Chuleta Kan Kan: A crispy pork chop presented in tomahawk style.

Ambience & Hours

Guests are welcomed by a vibrant hand-painted mural of Puerto Rico and warm, attentive service.

  • Tuesday–Friday: 11:30 AM–3:00 PM & 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
  • Saturday: 11:30 AM–9:00 PM
  • Sunday: 11:30 AM–6:00 PM
  • Monday: Closed
