Exchanging Euro cash is usually not possible at banks in Florida, unless you already have an account with a local bank. Currency exchange is mainly limited to special exchange offices, which are not available everywhere and often charge high fees.
For your Florida vacation, it is best to bring a credit card for payments and withdrawals. If you need U.S. dollars in cash, we recommend withdrawing directly at ATMs with your credit card instead of bringing large amounts of Euros for exchange.
Answer: If you have a U.S. health insurance card, you can generally use it at doctors’ offices, hospitals, and walk-in clinics. Depending on your plan, you may still be required to pay a co-payment on site.
If you have a foreign health insurance card (for example from Europe), it will not be accepted for direct billing in Florida. In that case, you must pay all medical services directly – in walk-in clinics usually even in advance (credit card or cash). You can later submit the invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement, depending on your coverage.
In the USA, EC cards and most debit cards issued outside the U.S. cannot be used reliably. V-Pay cards from Europe as well as many foreign debit cards are not accepted by ATMs or payment terminals in Florida.
Important: Only credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) are widely accepted for cash withdrawals and payments. If you still have an older Maestro card, withdrawals at ATMs may work in some cases, but this is no longer guaranteed.

Not all villas have a landline phone.

Whenever furnishings such as comforters are replaced, we take new photos right away and update them on our website. This way, what you see online truly reflects reality.

You pay the high season rental rate for all nights that fall within the high season. For the remaining nights of your stay that extend into the low season, you only pay the reduced low season rate. This way, the total cost is calculated fairly based on the actual dates of your Florida vacation.
You can find the weekly rental price for your villa directly on our website. If, for example, you wish to rent for 16 days, simply divide the weekly price by 7 and multiply by 16. Then add the final cleaning fee.

For our guests, we apply a general rule: The minimum stay is 7 nights. If one of our villas requires a longer minimum stay due to community regulations, this will be clearly displayed on our website under the Rental Price section.
In the event of a cancellation by the renter, the agreed rental amount is due if the landlord cannot re-rent the vacation villa for the booked period.
If the property is successfully re-rented for the entire stay, the landlord will retain the deposit to cover administrative costs and efforts.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance. You can easily add this insurance during booking. The cost is 7.65% of the insured amount.
Don’t wait too long: illness is bad enough – protect yourself from losing your rental payment.
You have rented the villa directly from the owner, and it is exclusively reserved for you. Should the house become unavailable due to major water damage or the sale of the villa to a new private owner, we will make every effort to provide you with a comparable vacation villa in Cape Coral.
If this alternative accommodation does not meet your expectations, we will cancel the rental agreement and refund your payment in full.
