The Old Collier Golf Club is an exclusive private golf club in Naples, Florida. It was created not as a country club or a residential community, but as a unique club fully dedicated to the game of golf. The course design reflects this commitment, integrating shot values, playability, aesthetics, and conditioning within a magnificent natural environment, offering an experience that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy every day.
Private – The 18-hole championship course, designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2001, stretches approximately 7,069 yards from the championship tees (Par 72). The layout blends seamlessly with nature. The dominant habitat is saltwater marsh with mangroves bordering the northern side, along holes #10, #11, #12, and #18. Another unique feature is the upland scrub with its distinctive white sands; holes #11, #12, #14, and #18 on the back nine weave through and over this terrain. Mature oaks, sabal palms, and lakes add framing, definition, and strategy. Unusual for South Florida, the course offers many uphill and downhill shots. Elevated tees provide dramatic, sometimes deceptive, views. Greens vary in size and contour, each with its own character, while sand bunkers mimic the visual characteristics of the upland scrub, varying in size and shape to match each hole’s strategy.
