The Flamingo Island Course at Lely Resort Golf & Country Club in Naples was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1989. This par-72 championship course spans 7,095 yards and features hourglass-shaped fairways, numerous sand bunkers, and large undulating Bermuda grass greens. The signature Hole 5, a 200-yard par 3, is surrounded entirely by water and accessed via two small bridges.
