The original course at Lexington Country Club was designed and completed by Gordon Lewis in 1995. In 2015, members approved a full course renovation that began in April 2017, led by the industry’s top up-and-coming architect, Kipp Schulties Golf Design. His redesign gave the course a stunning new look and significantly enhanced the playing experience.
The renovated championship course features Celebration grass from tee to green and TifEagle on the putting surfaces. Highlights include wide fairways, large greens, risk-and-reward challenges, strategic bunkering, and plentiful water features. The course also offers dramatic visuals with rock walls and landscaping that elevate the golfing experience. With six tee boxes scaling down from over 7,000 yards, the course is enjoyable and playable for golfers of all skill levels.
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting and chipping greens, and an aqua driving range. Golf instruction is available from certified PGA professionals, with private lessons starting at $60. Group golf clinics are also held regularly.
