The Calusa Pines Golf Club in North Naples was named one of the most modern courses in the country by Golfweek Magazine and is the highest-rated course in Southwest Florida. It has been ranked among America's top 100 golf courses by Golf Digest since 2007. The club does not release membership information, has no tee times, and features a strong caddie program as members and guests are encouraged to walk the course.
Opened in 2001, the course was designed by renowned architects Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. To create the unique elevation changes, over 2 million cubic yards of earth were moved, and more than $1 million was invested in blasting to form deep lakes and elevated fairways. The result is a course with dramatic elevation changes rare in Florida, including the highest point in Collier County at 58 feet above sea level.
The Calusa Pines Golf Club is a private club with a limited membership of fewer than 300. Membership is by invitation only. The club places a high value on exclusivity and does not offer public tee times. Guests may play only when accompanied by a member.
