At this 11th-century-style castle near Disney, guests are immersed in a spectacular live event featuring royal knights, thrilling jousting tournaments, sword battles, Andalusian horses, and falconry. Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament was founded in 1973 on the island of Mallorca. Its entertainment concept is rooted in the tradition of royal families hosting festive banquets and tournaments for their guests. The company debuted in the United States in 1983 and has entertained nearly 30 million guests in its castles.
Serving maidens deliver a four-course meal, including bread and soup, roasted chicken, spare ribs, and two rounds of drinks. The feast is served without utensils in true medieval fashion – though forks can be requested for children or special needs.
Tickets include the two-hour tournament and full meal. Parking is free. Doors open 60 minutes before showtime, allowing access to the Hall of Arms with souvenirs, coat-of-arms stations, and drinks from the castle bar.
