The Fort Myers Beach Fishing Pier was one of the most iconic landmarks along Florida’s Gulf Coast and a central gathering place located at Times Square Fort Myers Beach. For years, it attracted visitors with its relaxed atmosphere, scenic views, and excellent fishing opportunities.
Notice: The pier was destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022 and is currently undergoing full reconstruction. It is not accessible at this time, with reopening expected in the coming years.
Before its destruction, the pier was a favorite spot for walking, fishing without a license, and enjoying breathtaking sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. Its prime location at Times Square made it one of the most visited attractions in Fort Myers Beach.
