The Chubb Classic is a prestigious PGA TOUR Champions event held annually in February at the Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. Since 2021, it takes place on the challenging Black Course—a Par?72 stretching around 6,949 yards, designed by Greg Norman. Launched in 1988, it has become a marquee fixture in Southwest Florida golf.
Chubb Classic finds a family home in Naples: The 2019 event was held at the Classics Country Club at Lely Resort—the tournament’s original host site back in 1996. The 32nd edition of the event took place from February 11–17, 2019, on the Classics Course, a Par 72, 6,714-yard championship layout designed by Gary Player, the first Chubb Classic winner and World Golf Hall of Fame member. In 1996, the course also hosted the tournament, which was won by the legendary Al "Mr. 59" Geiberger. Tournament Director Kevin Diaz noted, “Over the years, the Chubb Classic has become a staple for the Southwest Florida community. We couldn’t be more excited to announce our new home – the players are going to love coming back here in February to compete.”
