Bicycle Friendly Community

The City of Cape Coral is truly a Bicycle Friendly Community. In 2015, the City received the designation as a Bicycle Friendly Community-bronze level by The League of American Bicyclists. Thanks to a public/private partnership and years of thoughtful planning, the city has created eight dedicated bike routes with distinctive signage, informational maps and kiosks highlighting the dozens of landmarks, facilities and recreational activities you can take in on your ride. www.bikeleague.org/BFA .

Award-Winning City

The City joins a distinguished group of only 351 visionary communities by 2015 from across the 50 states that have received this award by transforming our neighborhoods into bicycle-friendly communities. In addition, in 2016 the Florida Bicycle Association selected the City of Cape Coral for the Bicycle Friendly Community of the Year (2016) Award.
