Bicycling Park and Trails SWFL Florida

This is a popular paved trail, running north to south, good for biking and walking. It's six miles long and features benches, restrooms, and picnic pavilions. The trailhead has paved parking, including ADA-compliant spaces, and even bike repair stations.

Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve

While you can't bike on the boardwalk itself, there is a bicycle-friendly multi-use path along Six Mile Cypress Parkway. You can ride your bike to the preserve and use the bike racks provided. This preserve offers a boardwalk through a natural area with wildlife, butterfly gardens, and wetlands.

Lake Park

This park features a 2.2-mile out-and-back trail with paved paths and boardwalks around a lake. It's rated as easy and suitable for running and walking, but can also be used for biking.

This preserve has trails for hiking and equestrian use. While a 2.3-mile trail is designated for hiking only, nearly 5 additional miles are available for combined equestrian and hiking use. However, the trails are not paved and can get sandy.
