With effect from 18 May. 2020, the following measures are recommended as minimum standards for holiday accommodation that accepts reservations and accepts guests for any length of stay
Allow sufficient time between the end of the guest's stay and the check-in of the next guest to ensure adequate cleaning and hygiene.
This means that we as the rental manager and our cleaning team will enter the house at least 3 hours after the tenant's departure.
The next guest can check in with us 24 hours after the cleaning is completed.
Checking out and checking in the same day is not allowed.
We sign a new rental agreement 48 hours after the last tenant has checked out.
Hygiene regulations of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulations require
Clean and disinfect all frequently touched areas of the property between each guest's stay.
Wash all bedding, dishes and other service items available to guests between each guest rental.
Provide sufficient soap and sanitary facilities for guests to use in the apartment during the rental period.
Provide face masks for your guests.
Advise your guests that a face mask must be worn outside the holiday home.
Ensure that adequate security protocols are in place and that they are posted publicly in accordance with CDC's sharing policy.
Use mobile platforms for customer service and communication with guests, including accepting payments by mobile or electronic means.
Minimize direct contact of guests with holiday home owners or managers through remote check-in and check-out procedures.
Provide signage or other guidance on cleaning procedures before each guest's stay
Display signs or notices to guests in the rental property to frequently remind guests to take measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including wiping and cleaning the surfaces they touch.
